I feel very good about having lost more than my one pound goal! Will start there
Reflecting on the week:
- I got 4 workouts in
- I had 2 dry days of no alcohol
- I ate meals that I prepared all week – did not order in and did not eat out
- I did my morning routine each day including the weekend even with guests
- I felt prepared for each day as it came and was able to focus on just that day – and it wasn’t overly hard
Areas I could improve:
- Still like to have a glass of wine or two when I am doing nothing but watching tv – empty calories and quite frankly one of the reasons I am where I am today. That’s a process and I am working on it
- I got busy on the weekend and pushed my workouts to later in the day and when the time came I didn’t do them – so could add both weekend days coming up to improve the physical activity
- I bought chips and snacks for my guests on the weekend – they didn’t eat all of them so I did. I just need to not have that stuff in my house.
- I need a healthy snack option that is satisfying – I haven’t discovered it yet.
All in all a good start. The old me would look at this and conclude ok this will happen and forget about the process it took to get there – and then it doesn’t happen and I am back up in weight. This blog is meant to keep me on track – now put that result aside and work on the next one which is a (1) lb target this coming week. It is early but I am about to get on my bike for a 20k ride to start me off – and need to continue to do this for now 51 more weeks š
